Am I the only woman who hates Fridays? Cleaning, shopping, laundry, cooking, rushing to get it all done on time before candlelighting... same boring routine, week after week after week.
I love Shabbos, because there's plenty of time to read, relax, and hang out with my family and friends. But let's be honest. If you're an observant woman, then Friday sucks.

Totally agree! In retrospect the hard work makes shabbes even more special, but I find that hard to see on Friday morning. And then there are these stories of grandmothers in the shtetl that by 8AM on Friday would be all set for shabbes, cake on the table and the tsena rena at hand. Sigh...
