Thoughts on the Democratic National Convention:
-Barack Obama's speech tonight was dull, dull, dull. No snappy slogan, no catchy refrain, and if he says the word "change" one more time, my head will explode.
-Bill Clinton was so happy being in the spotlight again last night. No matter what you think of him, you have to admit that he is an incredibly compelling speaker. He can read the phone book out loud and still bring an audience to its feet.
- Joe Biden for VP? Really? Was that the best they could come up with? Joe Biden has run for President unsuccessfully so many times. It seems to me that voters just don't like him. I can't imagine that having Biden on the ticket is going to bring Obama a lot of new votes.
-Who was that unhappy looking woman with the red hair sitting next to Bill Clinton during Hillary's speech? That was a choice seat- she must be someone important in the party. It was odd how annoyed she seemed every time Clinton tried to talk to her.
- OK, I'll admit that the tangerine pantsuit was an unfortunate fashion choice, but I thought that Hillary Clinton's speech was terrific, particularly when she talked about the political gains that women have made in the last century. I voted for Hillary, hoping that this election would focus on the needs of women and open the door to stronger female leadership in this country. Men have been allowed to screw things up for far too long. It's high time that women seized the reins of power and worked to undo the damage that has been done by centuries of unchecked male aggression.

1. No question about it, Bill is just a fun guy, the one you want to be hanging out with at a party. Lots of good times with him.
2. Hillary--she certainly know how to get the crowd going and while I'm all for women's rights, I think either her or Obama as president is bad for American foreign policy. I don't think either of them will stand up to the Islamo-fascists.
3. Is tangerine in?
> No matter what you think of him, you have to admit that he is an incredibly compelling speaker.
Bill is the guy that, in high school, every girl wanted to date and party with. The mistake is thinking that he's interested in anything other than that.

So can Morgan Freeman. So?
Now I'm waiting for your post on Sarah Palin.
baila-
I don't think that tangerine is ever in!

So like I said, he's an incredibly compelling speaker. A convention is all about theatrics, and he did a great job revving up his audience.
leora-
see post above (:
Hillary is a good speaker, I've never heard her speak before. But the crowd seemed to like her.
But I don't believe in feminist stuff, and I don't think the country has been rule by male aggressors all this time. There can be good men too, and there can be aggressive woman too.
babysitter-
I hear ya. But you should know that the reason that you "don't believe in feminist stuff" is because you're young and you don't have to. This country is a much fairer place for women now than it was years ago because of the hard work of women like Hillary Clinton and other feminists.
