Saving Gili

Jameel has posted a video that tells the story of Gili Rossler, an Israeli infant who was born with one lung and a rare condition that constricts her trachea and makes it difficult for her body to take in enough oxygen. Israeli doctors have told her family that they can not help her, but there is a procedure available overseas that can. Of course, it costs a lot of money and is beyond the family's means. They are appealing to us to help save the life of their baby girl.
If you're looking for a big mitzvah to do before Rosh Hashana, this is the one. Please click here to see the video and to find out how to donate.

Update: Please see The Galilean Word for an update on Gili's story.
