As if life was not exciting enough already (see yesterday's post), today Wonderwoman came home from school to find a package waiting for her. It was... (drum roll)... an I-Pod Nano! In hot pink! Another birthday present! From my sister! She was! Very surprised! And happy! Really!
After 4 solid hours of listening to her jump around the house singing her newly downloaded songs, I finally wrestled the damn thing away from her and sent her to bed.
She's quiet right now, but I have a feeling that she's going to start singing in her sleep any minute now.
There's no joy like that brought on by shiny new electronics.

I can understand Wonderwoman's excitement; the new Ipod nano is great.
An I-Pod? In hot pink? I believe that in the official tween dictionary, the definition for "having your cake and eating it too" reads "owning a hot pink I-Pod".
:-)
Shabbat Shalom
My daughter got an i-pod for her bat-mitzvah from her aunt, and she lost it 3 months later. She was devastated, and so was I.
That was a downer, Raizy, wasn't it? Well my other daughter has had her i pod for three years, so don't worry about it.
Glad she's excited and happy about it, hope she enjoys it!
An Ipod Nano - I am still listening to my old cassettes. I was going through all my cassettes and wanted to find a home for those that I cds of - a task that is very hard to accomplish. : )
