Wow. Talk about bad luck.
A woman whose boyfriend had taken her to the beach to propose marriage was swept away by a wave and drowned.
The man took his girlfriend to Proposal Rock near a beach in Oregon. Before he could pop the question, a 3 foot high wave swept over the tiny woman and dragged her into the receding waters. She had just arrived in the United States three days earlier from the Phillipines. Her body has still not been recovered.
Jeez. That's probably the worst engagement story I've ever heard.
