3 Days, 3 Kids, Now... Go!

I know that there are some families that have been preparing for Pesach for a while now. Here at SuperRaizy's crib, we don't believe in prolonging the agony, so we have done nothing (seriously, NOTHING) yet to prepare for the holiday. But now, with only three days left before Bedikat Chametz, reality is staring me in the face. And so, this morning marks the official start of the PPP (Passover Preparation Period). Over the next three days, this superhero family will clean, organize, shop, iron, get haircuts, pick up dry cleaning, and cook (all without the help of that Brooklyn staple- the cleaning lady. I have 3 able bodied children, thank God, and they will pull their weight around here even if it kills me, which I suspect it just might.)
At the end of the three-day PPP, Casa SuperRaizy will be every bit as ready for Pesach as those households that have been preparing for weeks. That's the challenge, the gauntlet has been thrown down, now...go!!!

We skip the haircuts. I'll just have two shaggy-haired boys by L'ag B'omer.

Truth is, the majority of the work in my house will be done on Tuesday. And by me.

See you later...I'm off to get my oven ready for self-cleaning and cars cleaned. Car cleaning is a family-affair, thankfully.

Let the games begin!

Like I wrote on my Facebook page, the panic hasn't set in yet...but it will in the next 24-48 hours. First comes exhaustion!

Good luck! After all, we all arrive at the Seder at the same time, so I'm sure it'll get done!

Love your spirit. If I were you, I'd ditch the ironing and haircuts so you can a little [more] time on the computer. Get your priorities straight my dear.

I hoovered the car yesterday, koshered some pots a few hours ago, cleaned the fridge. The freezer had been done a while ago.
Tomorrow I hope to finish the shopping and buy new plates and cutlery. The haircut will have to be scheduled for Wednesday.

I forgot the self-cleaning also scheduled for tomorrow.
