Please sign Aish.com's online petition that "calls on the United States government to make its $300 million humanitarian aid pledge to the people of Gaza, conditional upon the Hamas leadership releasing Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit, held in captivity for over 1,000 days."
Doing this takes just 30 seconds of your time, and every little bit helps.

At what point do people start to realize that Gilad Shalit is dead, may Hashem avenge his blood.
I mean, really, do you think the Arabs have been giving him food, water and shelter now for more than 1000 days?
Why do you think every attempt to negotiate a deal until now has failed? Because the Israelis insist on getting him back alive and the Arabs can't do that.

I desperately hope that I'm wrong, but yes, I do believe that he is no longer alive and probably hasn't been for a very long time.
However, he deserves to have a proper Jewish burial, and his family deserves to know definitively what has happened to him, and the chance to bury and mourn him properly. So even if he is dead, we still want to get his body back. And that is possible, with enough international pressure.
Thanks for the link even if we have every reason to fear the worst.
