From time to time I try to bring attention to a child or adult who is ill and in need of a bone marrow transplant. Donating bone marrow is a rather simple procedure that can save someone's life. If you will be in the New York area on June 18, please consider attending the donor drive for 12 year old Asher, who is suffering from leukemia. Testing involves a quick cheek swab, and it can mean the difference between life or death for a young boy.
Date: June 18, 2009

Wishing you all a Shabbat Shalom!
