Can I Get A Napkin Please?

My kids found this on Youtube: (YES, I scolded them for going on Youtube without my permission.) It's by a group of performance artists called Improv Everywhere, who do unexpected things in public places, like riding the subway in their underwear and freezing suddenly in Grand Central Station. This one is particularly funny because of the dumbfounded expressions on the customers' faces.

That's a riot. I too have always just wanted to burst out in a song and act as if I am in the middle of a broadway musical. Funny, how all those people could sing. : )

Improv is my favorite type of comedy - it takes so much talent and wit to pull it off. Btw, how did your kids find this on Youtube?

lol. But I really wanted to thank you for your comment on my site- I feel the same way about engagement right now and it is good to know that I am not alone- and that you survived!

Thanks again.

Baila,
Apparently you've been frequenting the wrong type of malls. :)
(Don't feel bad, I haven't been at the right ones either!)

Glad you all enjoyed it.
Meanwhile, it's become impossible to eat dinner in my house. One or another of the kids will intentionally spill some juice, just so they can start singing "Can I get a napkin, please?"

Totally funny! When I did improv in college, we used to do small scale things like that... but it was true improv, not songs that we prepared. We'd just ambush some poor, quiet study area or dining hall. Quite fun!

That's funny. I am not sure how I would have reacted had I been there having lunch. Jack's link sent me here, and a nice link it was.

How did I miss that one?! ImprovEverywhere is so cool, but they're not always this funny. And that was SO not improvised, they were too coordinated.
