The dawning of a new week brings with it some new developments:
A ceasefire has been announced in Israel's war with Hamas. (I wish I could say that this marks the end of Israel's problem with Hamas, but that would be idiotically naive.)
Washington D.C. is gearing up for Tuesday's inauguration and all the attendant (and expensive) festivities.
Yet more snow has fallen on New York, it's still really cold, and my boiler has sprung a leak.
Ilana-Davita has very graciously passed on The Prémio Dardos Award to me and to seven other female bloggers.
This week's Haveil Havalim is up at The Rebbetzin's Husband.
I will be hosting next week's Haveil Havalim! Please get your posts in early so that I don't have to stay up all night at the last minute and become tired and grumpy and yell at my kids. Send your link to write968@aol.com or use the carnival submission form.
Ilana-Davita is hosting the upcoming Kosher Cooking Carnival so be sure to submit your food related posts to her before Jan. 23.
Th-th-th-that's all folks!
