If The Seven Dwarfs Were Jewish

How do you pass the time on a long Shabbos afternoon when one daughter is sick and the other is bored?
Play "If...then..."
For example: "If the Seven Dwarfs were Jewish, then their names would be..."
We came up with:
Shloofy (Sleepy)
Kvetchy (Grumpy)
Gezundheit (Sneezy)
Can you help us out with the rest?

Got two possiblilties: How about Raphael (Doc) and Simcha (Happy)?

Still thinking about Dopey and Bashful...

Raphael is a bit of a stretch, I think. But I like Simcha!
(Actually, I suggested "My son, the Doctor" for Doc, but my kids had no idea what I was talking about.)

haha... great question!

what is the "simple one" called during the seder? "Tam"? That could be a good name for Dopey... that, or "shlemeil," "putzi," "yutzy," or any of the other colorful yiddish expressions for "fool" :)

But wouldn't that raise Yichud issues with Snow White and all?

Emah S.-
Oh, I like Shlumpy! Which one would that apply to?
LOZ-
I'm shocked- shocked I say!- that you don't know the names of the 7 dwarfs. I thought you were a wordly guy! Their names are Happy, Sneezy, Sleepy, Bashful, Grumpy, Dopey, and Doc.
Maya-
OK let's go with "Yutzy" for Dopey.
Garnel-
Well, I've always thought that there was something funky going on in that cottage anyway.

Dopey would obviously be "shlemiel"

"yutzy" has a more negative connotation, and Dopey is kind of a poor fool, you know, a shlemiel. So, Shmiely, if you want to end with a "y."

What was that old joke about the difference between a Shlmiel and Shlmazal?

The shlemiel accidentally dumps the soup in the shlemazl's lap. And the yutz laughs about it.
