Steve Jobs unveiled the new Apple iPad touch screen tablet computer today. There was so much media hype leading up to the great reveal that I was sure that the thing would break new ground in personal computing. Based on what I've read so far, that doesn't seem to be the case. The tablet looks like a giant iPhone and functions in a similar way. The price ranges from $499-$829, depending on capability.
