Only if you put whipped cream on top it the pudding...YUM!!
Your idea sounds delish. I have a slightly different idea: buy a pie crust & some chocolate Tofutti. Let the Tofutti soften slightly, then spread in the crust. Top with sprinkles or whatever topping you like, then refreeze and take out 10 minutes before serving.
Mine asked for cheesecake. Is today "Ask your mother for hard to make pastry day" and if yes, why did no one tell me yesterday when i was grocery shopping?

it's super easy....and yummy.
Another variation -
1. Melt a bag of chocolate chips
2. blend with one package silken tofu
3. add dash of vanilla
4. pour into graham cracker crust
5. refrigerate
Serve with whipped topping.
Its delicious, easy, and can be pareve.
One word: Absolutely!
Sounds good to me. Oy, it brings back memories of trying having to bake this "French Silk Pie" in 5th grade as a project. Somehow i messed up the step with the margarine and ended up with French Chocolate with Margarine Chunk Pie". Yours sounds infinitely better!
Agree that you need to add the whipped topping over the pudding, and maybe some sprinkles or chocolate chips dusted over the top.
This instant stuff works just as great as the from scratch from in my experience. :)
