Any Computer Experts Out There?

HELP!
I upgraded to Explorer 8, and now my e-mail contact list has been wiped out. I had dozens of e-mail addresses of friends and family and colleagues- now I have none. Is there any way to restore my contacts so that I can send e-mails again?

i don't want to say i told you so, but aren't you the one to whom i recommended a while ago to get Norton Ghost?

short of that did you try doing a system restore. this can restore your computer's settings to a previous date and you may able to get back to the earlier explorer verions with your addresses. (this advice is not halacha le-ma'aseh and should not be followed without first consulting someone who really knows what they're doing).

and if that doens't work, just imagine how much more free time you'll have to clean for pesach.

sorry, i know that wasn't real consilation.

good luck

LOZ-
Thanks for the interesting blend of helpful advice + snarky condescension.
The system restore sounds like a good idea. I'll check it out before trying it.
