It was a cold and rainy Shabbos today. No guests, just lots of blessed quiet. The girls walked over to a friend's house. I slept and slept, all afternoon. What a pleasure.
I know that we're supposed to want guests to come over on Shabbos, and sometimes I do. But there are days when it's so nice to be alone, in a sweatshirt, just relaxing.
Anybody else crave a little solitude on the weekends?
