SALMON nicoise??? I've only had it with tuna! Salmon nicoise salad sounds amazing!
Try a pan bagnat next time...if you like salad nicoise, you'll probably like a pan bagnat, too!
Hmm... I always was afraid. What's in it?
tnspr569-
I know that pan means bread. What's a bagnat?
Ezzie-
C'mon, man up! It's a salad- it's not gonna hurt you. ( ;
(salmon, hardboiled egg, potato, tomato, and olives on greens)
Hold the hard boiled eggs and the olives and I'm in.
Something I'll have to try.
Salmon- cool. I'll have to try that. Seems perfect for Pesach, or erev Pesach.
I see the ingredients, but where is the recipe??
One thing -- I always thought salade nicoise was made with string beans -- oh, but then it wouldn't be so good for Pesach.
Recipe?
It's 4,000 degrees outside. I'm not cooking! I had the salad at Tea For Two, a dairy restaurant in Brooklyn that has terrific food (and yes, it's expensive, and no, I didn't pay for it. My cousin treated.)
Anyway, food that other people prepare for you always tastes better than food you prepare for yourself.
Why has no one ever told me this before?!?
You never asked. ;)

Thank you to the commenter above for providing a link to a youtube video that shows how to make a salmon nicoise salad. So for those of you who want to make it yourselves, there you have it.
Try it at Back to Nature in Brooklyn. It's un-fricking-believable. Yum.
Oh, I like Back to Nature. I haven't been there in a long time, though. Thank you, I'll keep it in mind.
